The Interview To maintain the collaborative spirit of our mixed-age atelier, enrollment is by invitation following an interview. This ensures a harmonious fit for our creative community and aligns our instruction with your personal goals. Interviews are held In-Person in Springfield, NJ or Virtually.

Foundations & The Hero Project Upon a successful interview you will receive an invitation email with a link to register for the mandatory two-week Foundations class.
The 3rd Week (Hero Project) is a specialized extension designed for those ready to elevate their craft as makers or who wish to enhance their art and design portfolios for college admission or industry. Registration for this advanced week opens exclusively to students who have successfully completed the initial two-week Foundations. Following the completion of your hours, a separate registration link will be emailed to you to finalize your enrollment for the Hero Project.
Premier Guest Residency: The MC Hotel | Montclair, NJ
For our out-of-town students, we have secured a limited block of rooms at The MC Hotel, Montclair’s premier “art-focused” boutique destination.
Located in the heart of Montclair’s thriving artistic community-often described as the “Upper West Side of the Suburbs” – the MC Hotel is a sophisticated sanctuary for creatives and is just a short, scenic walk from our studio, placing you at the center of Montclair’s world-class dining and gallery scene.
Booking Your Stay
Please contact the hotel directly and reference New York Footwear & Accessories Design Camp or Jennifer Siletski to access our reserved room block, secured to ensure availability during the busy summer season. While accommodations are not included in program tuition, families may arrange lodging that best suits their needs. All lodging charges, taxes, and incidentals are handled directly with the hotel.
